Lambda Drum Seeding Line

The Lambda Drum seeder is a versatile drum seeder in the Rotomation UK range of seeders. This seeder is ideal for nurseries looking to sow higher volumes then what can be achieved on the row seeders. With the Lambda seeder, up to 650 trays per hour can be sown. The touch screen control unit makes this machine quick and easy to change over so small batches are not a hassle and the high levels of accuracy mean that the operator is not constantly having to gap up missed cells.

Technical Information

The Lambda drum seeding line can reach a production up to 650 trays/hour.
The trays advance one next behind other on the tray filler belt, ensuring the maximum filling uniformity in every cell, also in those along the edge of the tray.
The filling can be adjusted with one single handle and enables a variable filling with soft, medium or high density.
The brushing group perfectly cleans the trays from the exceeding soil.
The driven dibbler ensures a centered positioning in the cell and a perfectly regular shape of the hole.
The seeding group can be equipped with up to 3 seeding drums for multi-seeding or chemical grain dispensing, with a perfect singularisation of both small and big seeds.
Changing the seeds or the trays is fast, thanks to the electronic drum adjustments and the ease of changing the drum, for which no tools are required.
The drum coverer for vermiculite or other grains performs with great uniformity and enables the user to choose the working width and the quantity of product distributed, to reduce any wastage.
Each component of the machine is designed to improve the work of operators, thanks to fast adjustments, low noise, high quality and strong building to reduce maintenance.
